Partnership aims to give Texas manufacturing firms additional competitive advantage

TMAC formally launched a partnership with Sustainment Technologies, Inc., furthering enablement of business growth and profitability for manufacturers in Texas.

Sustainment’s supplier platform employs innovative technologies and inclusive networking to help U.S. small- and medium-sized manufacturers to connect, collaborate and conduct business with suppliers, other manufacturers, large contractors and the U.S. Department of Defense. Sustainment is considered the first artificial intelligence-based industry 4.0 market network platform and was developed in direct partnership with the U.S. Air Force to help it gain access to a larger population of local manufacturers initially in the greater Texas-Oklahoma region.

“By partnering with Sustainment, we have the opportunity to build a common operating environment for the entire Texas manufacturing ecosystem on a platform that exposes our customers to technologies and features that will accelerate their growth and give Texas manufacturers an additional competitive advantage.” Rodney Reddic, TMAC interim executive director, said.

As the Texas Manufacturing Extension (MEP) partner, TMAC will lead efforts to inform and recruit manufacturers who can create a profile and access the benefits of Sustainment for free at sustainment.tech.

“I envisioned our technology – after personally dealing with the many challenges small manufacturers like me face – growing their businesses,” said Michael Morford, co-founder of Sustainment. “We are eager for our solution to help solve the increasing supply chain challenges our country faces as well.”
